At the heart of the package is the Modern Highline 2.0 in 6'9" — a high volume shortboard sitting at 56 litres and recommended for surfers up to 90kg. It's a board built around a simple idea: give surfers who are transitioning from a foamie or returning to the sport a proper shortboard that actually catches waves. The update from the original Highline features a dramatically tweaked bottom contour that has a small amount of Vee upfront, then a noticeable double concave with a lot of Vee between the fins — delivering speed, ease of turning and confidence in equal measure. FCSII Tri Performer fins are included with the board.

Paired with the board you'll get a Surfica Hybrid Boardbag to protect your investment to and from the beach, a Surfica straight leash to keep the board attached when things get messy, and a bar of Sexwax Quick Humps Cool surf wax to get you gripped up and ready to paddle out.
