Futures Vector 3/2 Alpha Thruster Fins – Large

All the same innovative technology as the Medium, scaled up for heavier surfers and bigger surf. The Vector 3/2 Alpha Large is a speed-generating thruster that maximises water attachment across multiple planing surfaces — reducing drag and delivering lift and projection that you can feel all the way through a turn.

The Vector foil runs a concave surface along the inside of each side fin, increasing surface area and water attachment for fluid, connected surfing. The 3/2 twist adds an extra 3 degrees of cant and 2 degrees of toe to the upper half of the fin, changing the planing angle mid-manoeuvre for grip and release exactly when you need it. The Scimitar tip — a flattened trailing edge originally developed in 2006 — tightens the turn arc and complements the foil's lift properties throughout the template. The result is a fin that feels fast and free in small surf, but equally at home when the swell lifts. Built in Alpha construction with Bureo's NetPlus recycled fishing nets and C6 carbon technology, and sized for surfers 75kg+, the Vector 3/2 Large is a genuinely different option for anyone looking to add speed and flow to their surfing at a great price point.
